
There are a number of choice, short treks in the foothills to the North of Pokhara. Most of these deviations will visit Ghorepani and Ghandruk. Ghorepani is just below the famed vantage point of Poonhill, one of the best spots to see the views of central Nepal Himalayan panorama.
Ghorepani, Poonhill (spot to see the views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Lamjung ranges as well as sunrise), Ghandruk, Dhampus village with distinctive tribes. Rhododendron forest with wild monkeys, spotted deer and many birds.
